Neighbourhood Meet,
Greet & Treat”

Bringing Neighbours Together. Sharing Islam. Serving Humanity.
About Us

Building Stronger Neighboourhoods Together

In today’s society, it is possible to live side by side with our neighbours for years without ever truly knowing them. We believe that a strong community begins when people know one another, care for one another, and are willing to stand by each other when help is needed.

Inspired by the teachings of the final Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who encouraged us to spread Salam and feed others, we established Neighbourhood Meet, Greet & Treat.

Our aim is simple: to bring people together, build friendships, strengthen neighbourhoods, and create a culture of kindness, care and mutual support.

We regularly organise community events, meet and greet our neighbours, invite people into our homes and gatherings, share food, and look for practical ways to support those around us.

Qur’an Circles

Understanding, Learning and Living Islam

Alongside our community activities, we organise weekly Qur’an Circles for men, women and children, providing an opportunity to study the Qur’an with understanding and reflect on how its guidance can be applied in our daily lives.

We believe that Islam is not simply a faith to be practised privately. As Muslims, we have a responsibility to convey the message of Allah through our words, actions and character to the people among whom we live, work and interact.

The Qur’an describes the Muslim Ummah as “Khayr Ummah” — the best community raised for humanity, with a responsibility to promote what is good and beneficial.

Our mission is therefore to reach people—men and women alike—with the message and guidance of Allah, while striving to improve ourselves and contribute positively to society.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ

This reminds us that every believer can play a part. Whatever beneficial knowledge we possess—even a single verse—we can share it with others.

Our Commitment

We seek to:
Practise Islam ourselves and continually improve our relationship with Allah.
Understand the Qur’an and apply its guidance in our lives.
Invite others towards goodness with wisdom, kindness and good character.

Develop ourselves spiritually and morally through Tarbiyah and Tazkiyah.

Help others learn about Islam and discover the guidance of the Qur’an.
Serve our wider community through practical help and meaningful relationships.
Contribute our time, skills and resources to beneficial work.
Allah Almighty says:

“O you who believe! Be helpers of Allah.”

Surah As-Saff 61:14

We understand this call as an invitation to dedicate ourselves to serving Allah’s cause and benefiting His creation.

This can take many practical forms:

Practise Islam ourselves and continually improve our relationship with Allah.
Inviting others to benefit from them.
Giving our time, wealth and skills.
Helping organise Friday prayers and community gatherings.
Providing food for worshippers, guests and neighbours.
Collecting and contributing donations.
Distributing beneficial Islamic literature.
Helping people where possible with employment opportunities, accommodation and marriage proposals.
Supporting those around us in times of need.

Every sincere effort to bring benefit, goodness and guidance to others can become an act of worship when done for the sake of Allah.

Good Citizenship Is Also Da‘wah

Living the Values Of Islam

We believe that how we live among people is an important part of conveying Islam.

Being a responsible and law-abiding citizen, treating others with respect, showing kindness to neighbours, keeping our promises, helping those in need and demonstrating good manners are all ways of reflecting the values of Islam.

Our Da‘wah is therefore not limited to what we say. It is also what people see in our character, our conduct and our service to others.

Our Vision

Stronger Communities Brighter Future

We hope to see neighbourhoods where people know and care for one another; where Muslims live their faith with understanding and good character; where neighbours support each other; and where the message of the Qur’an is shared through both words and actions.

Meet. Greet. Treat. Learn. Serve. Share.

Together, we can help build communities where faith inspires service, neighbours become friends, and people become a source of goodness for one another.
